His Bromance With Oscar Isaac Is the Real Deal
Most people have a best friend that completes them. For Pascal, it seems that’s fellow actor Oscar Isaac. The happiness they exhibit when they are together is undeniable. In an interview withRemezclalate last year, Isaac described Pascal as his “sweet girlfriend.” Isaac doesn’t have social media, but Pascal always posts photos of the two together at events or celebrating someone’s birthday or a holiday. How It Started
Before high-profile movies likeThe Unbearable Weight of Massive TalentandWonder Woman 1984, Pascal starred in smaller films in the mid-2000s. The first movie of his career was a 2005 drama calledHermanas. Set in 1976, the film follows two sisters who are separated when they escape the political turmoil in their home country of Argentina. Pascal plays a character named Steve, an employee at a second-hand store who develops a crush on one of the sisters.Oh, speaking of movies starring Pascal that you’ve probably never heard of, there was also that one time Pascal played avampire.

An LGBTQ+ Ally
Pascal is an ally and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. He showed immense support for his sister Lux when shecame outas transgender in early 2021. In an interview withYAmagazine, Lux said that her brother “has been an important part of this. He’s also an artist and has served as a guide for me. He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity.” When Lux was featured on the cover ofYA, Pascal posted the magazine on social media and wrote, “Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux.”

It might be blasphemous in the tightestStar Warscircles. Still, Pascal admitted – under the duress of alie detector test– that when the cameras are not rolling onThe Mandalorian, he’ll still sometimes refer to the lovable character Grogu as Baby Yoda. Pascalhas knownthe character’s name was Grogu since the start of Season 2. When he revealed toVanity Fairthat he sometimes calls Grogu by his unofficial name, you could almost see Pascal’s soul leave his body.
