Abe is one of the few people who's actually friends with Topher. However, Topher is still pretty rude and selfish toward Abe, often ignoring and betraying him and only caring about being his friend when it's convenient to him. Topher first became friends with Abe in "Let's Try This Again", when he let him under his wing and warned him to watch what he says so that he doesn't get cancelled. Abe failed to listen to Topher's advice and ended up getting himself cancelled. During this time, Topher was nowhere to be found, not helping Abe in his time of need. He also screwed Abe over by sending out a text, telling everyone he was "mansplaining".
“ | Topher: You need to be more careful with your words. You don't wanna get cancelled. Abe: You're saying I need to be more politically correct? Topher: We don't say "politically correct" anymore. Abe: Oh, nice. That stuff was so retar- Topher: RETIRED! Yes, the phrase was retired. Abe: No, I was gunna say retar- Topher: Shut up! | „ |
- Topher teaching Abe how to be woke |
In "Sleepover", Topher invited Abe over to his house for a sleepover, not because he actually liked him or had any interest in anything about him, such as Abe's lighthouse impression, but just because his therapist demanded he have three social interactions a month and he needed a token sleepover with Abe to fill his quota. The whole time, Topher ignored Abe and just spent all his time, getting into a flame war on FlipFlop. Abe was horrified to see just how heinous and disgusting Topher acted online, calling him a monster for saying the things he said. This was enough to make Abe leave the sleepover and go home early.
Topher would eventually sever his ties with Abe in "Sexy-Ed", when he tricked him into hooking up with Mrs. Grumbles so that he could blackmail him with the footage later, keeping him from asking out Joan, so that he could have her all to himself. However, Topher never actually made a move on Joan.
In "Clone Alone", Topher continued to blackmail Abe into avoiding Joan until JFK found out what was going on and destroyed the evidence, by crushing the phone between his buttcheeks. Abe was among the rest of the clones at the end of the episode, shouting "Shut up, Topher!", proving that now, even he hates him and Topher just lost his only ally.
Joan of Arc[]
“ | I can't fight my love for a white woman! | „ |
- Topher |
Despite having had no previous interactions with her, Topher was revealed to have a crush on Joan in the episode "Sexy-Ed" and he tried to make it easier to ask her out by blackmailing her other suitor, Abe with footage of him hooking up with Mrs. Grumbles, just to keep him out of his way. However, Topher never actually made a move on Joan and his evidence was ultimately destroyed by JFK in "Clone Alone", allowing Abe to continue pursuing her again.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Blinded With Pseudoscience: Magnetic Distractions", Topher invites Joan to join the Bleacher Creatures after she had become a social outcast. Topher had Joan do a bunch of mean pranks on the other students at Clone High. This ended in "The Principal Principle: Sub Zero to Sub Hero", when Joan betrayed the Bleacher Creatures to go back to her old friends again. Interestingly, Topher didn't express any romantic interest in Joan at any time during her stay with the Bleacher Creatures.
Harriet Tubman[]
“ | As a woke straight male ally, let me put my lips on this unconscious black woman, to show how woke and straight I am! | „ |
- Topher |

Harriet supposedly hates Topher for being a misogynistic racist, although their on-screen interactions are very limited. In "Some Talking but Mostly Songs", Topher was upset about not being included in "Twister: The Game: The Musical", as Harriet just pushed him over, saying "Hell no" to his audition. In "Spring Broken", Topher attempted to save a passed-out Harriet by putting his mouth on the unconscious black woman but was pushed over by JFK. Harriet was among all the other clones, exclaiming "Shut up, Topher!" in "Clone Alone".
JFK[]
“ | Your a loser with a very small amount of friends ... ZERO. | „ |
- Topher Bus' evil FlipFlop comment to JFK |
In "Sleepover", Topher got into a flame war with JFK on FlipFlop, after getting pissed off at him for making a stereotypical joke about Italians. Topher behaved like a complete monster when he insulted JFK and said all of the most horrible and offensive things to him. It should be noted that neither party knew who each other was, as this was all online.
In "Clone Alone", JFK discovered that Topher was blackmailing Abe and was disgusted by Topher's bad behavior. JFK stole Topher's phone, which contained the incriminating evidence against Abe and crushed it between his buttcheeks.
Bleacher Creatures[]
As of Season 3, Topher is now a member of The Bleacher Creatures, an underground society of students, who have been rejected by the rest of the real-world society. Topher is the leader of this group and is on good terms with fellow villains, including Jackie the Ripper, Lizzie Borden, Ivan the Terrible, Vlad the Impaler, and Van Gogh.
